Terms of Service & Culinary Disclaimer

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ConvertToAirFryer.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and DigiCatalyst Systems ("we," "us," "our").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 if you are in the EEA) to use the Site. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. General Information Only
Content and calculations on the Site are for general informational purposes only. Air fryers vary significantly in power, fan speed, and heat distribution. Our conversions are mathematical estimates, not guarantees.
4. Culinary Safety Warning (The Golden Rule)
Our calculator provides guidelines, not guarantees. Cooking times depend on food quantity, starting temperature, and the specific appliance.
Safety First: Never leave an air fryer or oven unattended while in use.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (including the calculator, design, code, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Site for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, reproduce, or republish content without our prior written permission. Copyright complaints: email support@converttoairfryer.com with subject line "DMCA notice" and include the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site other than as permitted by our robots.txt; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Site; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site; (d) use the Site for any unlawful purpose; (e) remove or alter notices or branding.
7. Advertising and Third-Party Links
The Site displays advertising served by Google AdSense and may link to third-party sites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any third-party content, products, or services. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any undercooked food, overcooked food, appliance damage, foodborne illness, injury, or other damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site is limited to CAD $100. We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, and punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and our affiliates, owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of a third party.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications to the Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
14. Miscellaneous
Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Entire Agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them at our discretion. Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Electronic Communications. You consent to receive notices electronically.
